These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made from Salty Dog Emporium website. Terms and conditions may change without prior notice. Please ensure that you read them before you make any purchase.

PRICING

All prices quoted on Salty Dog Emporium website are in pounds sterling. Where applicable VAT is included in prices shown. Prices do not include delivery.

Whenever a reduced price is shown, the item(s) have previously been on sale at the higher price for at least 28 days. All orders for products are subject to availability.

ACCEPTANCE OF ORDER

Your order is normally accepted when your payment is received however we reserve the right to refund and cancel orders at our discretion.

PAYMENT

You must be over 18 years old to make a payment. Payment can be made by the methods provided on Salty Dog Emporium website. Payment will be debited from your chosen method of payment at the time the goods are ordered.

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

You may cancel your order for up to 7 days from receipt of the product. Product to be returned for a refund must be returned within that period to the address below, at your cost and in the original packaging:

If you receive an item that you did not order, please notify us as soon as possible.

DELIVERY

Delivery charges cover UK mainland only. For delivery outside of the UK mainland, you should contact us direct by e-mail or by telephone (see contact details). All deliveries will be sent to the address that was specified in the order. Every effort will be made to deliver within the time frame specified. Standard delivery should normally take four working days. Where delivery within four working days is not possible, you will be notified by e-mail, and unless stated otherwise, we will ensure that your product is delivered within 28 days from acceptance. However, this may not apply in respect of deliveries outside of the UK mainland. We cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery that are caused by third parties or bad weather. We may at our discretion and expense, deliver parts of your order separately.

PRODUCT USE

The products should be used only under strict adult supervision at all times. Under no circumstances should wheeled products ever be used in areas where other vehicles may be driving. Under no circumstances should any product be used where there could be danger to a child or adult. Mini bikes, quads, scooters are not ROAD LEGAL and should under no circumstances be used on the public roads. The purchaser is solely responsible for the use of the product and must strictly adhere to all governmental laws that are in force. Do not use on wet, oily or icy surfaces. Children should be supervised at all times when riding the product by a responsible adult.

Purchaser accepts full responsibility & releases Salty Dog Emporium and its owners of any and all personal injuries, fatal injuries, any loses, costs or damages incurred as a result of the Purchaser’s operation of the product. The purchaser is solely responsible for the maintenance and safety of the wheeled product and when permitting other riders to ride these products, and assumes all responsibility in event of damages, injuries or fatal injuries etc… Purchaser is solely responsible for understanding and abiding by all governmental/police laws for operation of this product. Accident damage should be attended to immediately and damaged parts replaced immediately. Helmets and suitable protective equipment should be used at all times.

DAMAGED OR FAULTY ITEMS

Do not sign for or accept an order that is visibly damaged. If you receive an item that has been damaged in transit, please notify us as soon as possible and we will arrange its return and replace the item as soon as possible. Products must be inspected within a reasonable period of time of receipt. You will be deemed to have accepted the product unless you notify us of your intent to cancel the order in accordance with the process as specified in the ‘YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL’ section or you notify us that the goods are faulty in accordance with the processes as specified in this section.

You can return any item that was faulty at the point of sale for either a replacement, a free repair or a full refund., so long as you have proof of purchase and the item in question is returned complete in it’s original packaging. You will not be entitled to any refund, replacement or repair for general wear and tear.

TRADEMARKS AND COPYRIGHT

Salty Dog Emporium Dog trademark is the property of Salty Dog Emporium. Other trademarks used on this website are the property of their respective owners. You are not permitted to use any of the trademarks contained on the site or any similar signs that are likely to cause confusion without written authorisation.

OFFERS ON PRODUCT, DELIVERY OR OTHER

Salty Dog Emporium reserves the right to withdraw, refuse or cancel offers of any kind at any time, for whatever the reason. Delivery offers are for within the UK only.

COOKIES

Cookies are small amounts of information which we store on your computer. Unless you have indicated your objection when disclosing your details to us, our system will issue cookies to your computer when you log on to the site. We reserve the right to edit or remove any reviews submitted to our website, stored on our servers, hosted or published upon our website.

We may send you commercial communications, email notifications which you have specifically requested, our newsletter and other marketing communications relating to our business which we think may be of interest to you. This could be by post or, where you have specifically agreed to this, by email or similar technology. Note, we will not ‘flood’ your inbox with emails, they may be sent when necessary either due to an order or order notification, or to offer you a coupon or supply you our Newsletter.

PROMOTIONAL VOUCHERS/COUPONS/POINTS

Promotional vouchers/coupons/points may only be redeemed against items in stock for the duration of the promotion. Multiple coupons are applied in sequence against the total after applying the previous coupon. We cannot take advance orders or accept reservation for out of stock items.

USE OF DATA

When submitting personal details to make a purchase, or if you choose to deliver items to a third party such as a friend, all information such as the name, address, e-mail address and telephone number will only be used to process payment, deliver the goods and for us to contact you.

In order to complete a delivery we may also have to disclose specific personal information to particular service suppliers such as the Royal Mail and other nominated carriers. By placing an order with us, you are consenting to us using the personal information that you have given us.

We may also maintain a history of your order details, which enables both you, through an Account, and us to track your deliveries and review your past purchases. There may be occasions when you may be offered a reward or a promotional offer for past purchases made.

We may disclose information about you to any of our employees, agents, suppliers or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes as set out in this policy. We may disclose your personal information to the extent that we are required to do so by law, in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings, in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk). WARRANTIES

The products are free of fault at point of delivery and if found to be otherwise on delivery, the purchaser should return them under the conditions defined under DAMAGED OR FAULTY ITEMS. Batteries are expressly excluded from any guarantee. Your receipt is your proof of warranty.

All products sold on Salty Dog Emporium website comply with the statutory legal requirements and relevant safety standards of the United Kingdom.

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the information on this website is correct, we do not warrant its completeness or accuracy; nor do we commit to ensuring that the website remains available or that the material on the website is kept up-to-date.

These terms and conditions, together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details, returns policy and privacy policy, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of goods from us to you. The terms and conditions remain enforceable even if an individual term is found to be unenforceable. We reserve the right to amend or revise these terms and conditions at anytime. You are therefore advised to keep up to date with the contents of these terms and conditions as any revisions are binding upon you.

Please note that nothing within these terms and conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to any faulty or inaccurately described goods. For further information regarding your statutory rights, please contact your local Trading Standards office or Citizen’s Advice Bureau.

Under no circumstances can any liability arising out of these terms and conditions and any ensuing contractual relationship be greater than £500.
